The international academic and practical seminar-conference “Noonomy Theory: New Approaches to Socio-Economic Transformation” was held at the National University of Laos in Vientiane. The event ran from 13 to 16 October 2026.
It was organised by the World Association of Noonomy (WAN), the National University of Laos, the National Academy of Politics and Public Administration of Laos (NAPPA) and the Lao University of Social and Economic Sciences.
On 15 October the conference held its second session, “Human Potential, Education and Digital Transformation”. WAN representatives presented reports on the theory of noonomy and its application to the tasks of socio-economic development.
The sessions were attended by heads and faculty of Lao universities and research institutions, among them Professor Phouphet Kyophilavong, Vice-President of the National University of Laos.
